Far Cry 6 is a bit more uphill in comparison to Far Cry 5 in my opinion. While I like the setting of FC5, Ubisoft did absolutely nothing story wise. It was just "player here is the world, do whatever you like, just get some bases and we will come back to you with a little bit of story". Far Cry 5 felt like it had too much happening—like I couldn't walk 10 meters down the road without getting jumped by a cougar seconds before an ambush by a pickup truck full of human firearm Honestly, that did more for me than the combat, which (again) will feel familiar to Far Cry fans with its mix of bows and guns. Nothing wrong with it, but shooting stuff feels like the least There's a not-so-small, cynical part of me that just wants to copy-and-paste my Far Cry 5 review right here and be done with it. Far Cry: New Dawn boasts many of the same faces and places you'll Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4 have more environmental and systemic variables than Far Cry 2. It’s natural. They’re iterative improvements that add more to the memorable-moment formula Far Cry 2 Far Cry is an acquired taste so if you get the bug, either should be fine. 3 was my favorite but is pretty dated now. The closest one to it is 6, IMHO. To answer your question, I liked 5 better than 4. 4 recycled the map from 3, and I just didn't care about the story. And the stories are very, very different. Reason being is because I feel like the visceral intense 1st person interactions between the protagonist and villains were a really important component of all the previous Far Cry games. Could you imagine Far Cry 3's story with all of the Jason - Vaas/Hoyt cutscenes being viewed as a floating camera off to the side in 3rd person? Far Cry 6 One of the weakest points of farcry 5 was the ai, both spawn behavior and combat behavior I just replayed the halo trilogy and although it's an old game the ai's behavior's really good; the way enemies know when to push you, disingage when they need letting their friends cover them while they do, stuff like that. If it really does play like Far Cry though, it may have an appeal beyond the film’s peculiarly ephemeral fanbase. Formats: Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Publisher: Ubisoft. Developer I was reading Polygon's review and they said the map was actually smaller than Far Cry 4? Is this really the case? Coins. 0 coins. Premium Powerups dUTBR.
